Return & Refund Policy

General Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns on most individual products within 30 days of purchase, as long as they are in new and resalable condition. Returns requested after 30 days may be considered on a case-by-case basis, often for store credit.

For complete machine kits, returns are possible but must be approved by our management team before shipping.

How to Start a Return

All returns must be authorized in advance.

  1. Please contact us by email or phone to discuss your return and get approval.
  2. Once authorized, we'll ask you to ship the item back to us.
    • Use your original order number as the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and write it clearly on the outside of the box.
  3. Ship returns to:

Refunds & Store Credit

  • Returns received in new/resalable condition within 90 days will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • After 90 days, we may offer store credit instead, at our discretion.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
  • Components or systems purchased through our User Forum or any third party seller do not qualify for refund or store credit.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Unless your product is defective or shipped in error, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Please ensure items are properly packaged to avoid damage in transit. Avid CNC is not responsible for loss or damage during return shipping.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please keep all packaging materials and the product. Contact us right away so we can arrange a replacement and file a claim with the carrier.

For warranty replacements shipping to Canada, please note "Warranty Return" on the shipping label to help avoid customs fees.

Repairs

We're happy to help repair products, whether they are under warranty or outside of it.

  • If your product is not under warranty, the customer is responsible for product and shipping costs both ways.
  • Repairs must be approved by our customer experience team before sending any product back.

Rates

  • The first 15 minutes of a repair technician's time is complimentary for the original purchaser of the Avid CNC component or system.
  • After that, repairs are billed at $125.00/hour, plus the cost of any replacement parts.
